Fairborn’s Peerless Technologies has been awarded a five-year, $110 million Air Force contract, continuing the company’s support for the F-22 program into 2025 — and leading to the expected hiring of 30 new employees, the company said.

Peerless, which has worked on the F-22 program since 2012 through four previous contracts, provides engineering management and other services to the program, the company said in a release Monday.

“As a locally headquartered company, its especially rewarding to extend our valued relationship with the F-22 program office, keeping jobs in the Dayton region,” Peerless President Michael Bridges said in the release.

The bulk of the work will be performed at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, with positions also located at Hill Air Force Base in Utah.

Peerless anticipates hiring 30 new employees for the F-22 effort over the course of the contract, said Kurt Harendza, Peerless senior vice president.

When those hires are complete, the company will have more than 90 people working in support of the F-22, Bridges said.

Founded in Dayton in 2000, Peerless Technologies has over 450 employees in 17 states providing engineering, aerospace, program management, cybersecurity, software development, business operations and other professional services to the Air Force, Navy, NASA and other government customers.
