The Fedex location will open this summer, a Walmart spokesman said. The only other area Walmart with a FedEx store is in Franklin, which opened in March.

Walmart and FedEx made a deal last spring to open 500 FedEx shops inside the Supercenters over two years.
While shopping at Walmart, customers will be able to stop by the FedEx shop for packing, shipping and printing materials and services.
FedEx customers can also direct their packages to the Walmart-based FedEx office via the FedEx Delivery Manager to be held for up to five business days. Secure package delivery has become a huge point of concern across the country as “porch pirates” follow delivery vehicles to snatch deliveries that aren’t immediately take inside or left in a secure box.

“Our busy customers view our stores as a one-stop-shop for all the products and services they are looking for,” said Daniel Eckert, a Walmart executive.
The Walmart expansion is part of FedEx’s larger retail growth under the FedEx Office brand.
