French Oil Mill Machinery renews ISO certification

French Oil Mill Machinery Co., a Piqua-based manufacturer of hydraulic presses, oilseed and polymer equipment, has renewed its Det Norske Veritas ISO 9001: 2008 certification after a successful internal audit, according to a media release.

The certification, renewed through Dec. 28, 2015, ensures the company’s quality management process meets the requirements of the ISO 9001: 2008 international standard accredited by the ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board.

“The ISO certification renewal reinforces our exceptional quality standards and helps to assure our stakeholders that we are providing world-class products and services,” said Jason McDaniel, French Oil’s president and chief operating officer, in a statement.

ISO 9001 is one of the world’s most widely used quality management tools. French Oil received its initial certificate in 1998 and there has been no interruption in the accreditation since the company first completed the audit process, officials said.

French Oil Mill Machinery is a family-owned company founded in 1900 and headquartered in Piqua.
