Mansfield Energy Corp, a Gainesville, Ga.-based energy supply and logistics provider, recently acquired fuel provider R.W. Earhart Co. in Troy.

Earhart’s office at 1201 Bruckner Drive will become a Mansfield regional office, the acquiring company said.

Miami County property records show that “Mansfield Oil Co. of Gainesville Inc.” recently acquired five properties, including the Bruckner Drive location. The Bruckner property — along with properties on Stanfield Road and Mote Drive — was purchased from Earhart Brothers Leasing LLC for just over $2.4 million, records show.

“The Earhart Ohio team will continue to offer its services, which include bulk fuel, fleet cards, fixed price and card locks, to our residential, commercial and government customers,” Mike Rhoades, office general manager, said in a statement. “We will now also be capable of providing incremental offerings from the Mansfield portfolio of services.”

“We are very pleased to welcome Earhart into the Mansfield family,” Michael Mansfield Sr., chief executive of Mansfield Energy, said. “Earhart is an impressive, large regional company that has been exceptionally well run serving key markets in our industry. Much like Mansfield, Earhart has built a legacy of success over the past 60 years with a commitment to outstanding customer service and operational excellence.”
