“The Hilton Garden Inn Dayton South/ Austin Landing is in close proximity to a number of corporations, businesses, and attractions such as Lexis Nexis, Kettering Health Network, and the University of Dayton,” said Heath Beckett, the hotel’s general manager, in a statement.
Features include a restaurant, 24-hour business center, five meeting rooms and fitness center with swimming pool.
The hotel is one of several business openings this year in the area around the south Dayton area Interstate-75 interchange.A $15 million Kroger store opened in January.
A Kohl’s department store, three office buildings and a parking garage are already completed at the $150 million development by RG Properties and Miami Twp. at Ohio 741 and Austin Boulevard.
The Austin Pike interchange on I-75 opened in 2010.
Also opening a south Dayton area hotel is Best Western. Best Western Plus Hotel opened in a former bank-owned property at 8099 Old Yankee St. in Washington Twp.
The South Metro Regional Chamber of Commerce said it will celebrate Best Western’s investment with a ribbon cutting 5 to 7 p.m. April 4.
