It’s difficult to find agreement on when the home was built. The three-story building was built in 1882 and offers nearly 9,000 square feet, according to a LoopNet listing.
A Facebook page for the address says the home is known as the “Dr. Jefferson A. Walters House” and is regarded as an a historic residence. The building’s Wikipedia page says the building was built in 1832. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1974.
And a Montgomery County Landmark Committee report puts the date of the building’s construction as 1865.
