Kettering Dunkin Donuts site sold for nearly $1.7 million

A Dunkin Donuts property in Kettering has sold for more than $1.6 million, local property records show.

GOC Realco LLC, which has been selling a number of local Dunkin Donuts locations, sold the property at 1864 E. Stroop Road to 1864 E. Stroop Road LLC for $1,682,243, according to new Montgomery County property records.

The sale of the property — consisting of about .773 acres of land near Wilmington Pike — was recorded late last week.

Pat Gilligan, owner of the Dunkin’ Donuts franchise rights in the Dayton and Cincinnati areas, opened several of the doughnut shops locally in recent years, including the one off East Stroop Road. That shop opened in 2014.

GOC Realco has also recently sold sites in Riverside and Centerville.

Prior to the March 2014 opening of the Centerville location, the chain’s sole Dayton-area Dunkin Donuts was off Ohio 741 in Miami Twp. just north of the Dayton Mall, the Dayton Daily News reported in 2014.
