Kettering Health names 2 new hospital presidents

Kettering Health Network named two new presidents for hospitals in its networks.

Walter Sackett has been named the president of Kettering Medical Center, which is the largest hospital in the network. Kettering Health Network said in a statement that Sackett was president of Sycamore Medical Center since 2012, which includes Kettering Behavioral Medicine Center and the Senior Division.

Sackett joined Kettering Health Network in 2007 as vice president of Clinical Services at Kettering Medical Center.

Anita Adams-Jenkins has was named president of Sycamore Medical Center in Miamisburg, including Kettering Behavioral Medicine Center and the Senior Division. Adams-Jenkins began her career with Kettering Health Network in 2015 as the new chief operating officer of Kettering Medical Center.

Terry Burns, who was president of Kettering Medical Center, is now chief operating officer for the network. He became president of Kettering Medical Center in 2017, replacing Jarrod McNaughton.

“These leadership transitions will continue to position our network to successfully navigate the ever-changing and challenging health care environment,” Fred Manchur, CEO of Kettering Health Network said in a statement.

The changes are effective March 11.

Kettering Health network is a network of eight hospitals and other outpatient sites and physician practices. It employs the equivalent of about 10,800 full-time employees.
