Kroger Co. is hiring in the Dayton and Cincinnati regions.

The company seeks to hire 400 new employees in its Cincinnati-Dayton Division, a region that includes 109 stores.

Most of the hiring will happen at local stores 11 a.m.-4 p.m. this coming Saturday.

Openings include a range of jobs, including store clerks, that start at a minimum of $10 per hour, as well as deli and bakery clerks or pharmacy technicians, whose positions start at $11 an hour. Kroger’s third-shift staff positions start at $12 per hour.

Deli/Bakery clerks, pharmacy technicians and third shift overnight staff must be at least 18 years old.

New employees will be eligible for Kroger benefits including its “Feed Your Future” education program, what the company says is accelerated investment in wages, retirement benefits and employee discounts.

Those interested should apply for openings before Saturday at Kroger's careers web site. 

The nation’s largest grocery chain, Cincinnati-based Kroger has more than 2,796 retail food stores in 35 states.
