Kroger to remodel local store for ClickList

Kroger plans to renovate its grocery store on Needmore Road to make way for ClickList.

The Cincinnati-based grocery giant has been remodeling stores around the region to make way for the online grocery ordering service that let’s customers buy groceries online and pick their assembled order up at the store.

Kroger filed a permit with Montgomery County on May 29 for the 1934 Needmore Road project. The permit said it will renovate about 900 square feet of the store and the work will cost about $50,000.

A message was left with Kroger asking for the project timeline.

Kroger has 8,100 employees and 44 stores in the region.

The retailer most recently finished a $4.3 million renovation of its Huber Heights store, which included adding ClickList.
