Little Caesars pizza restaurant opens in Trenton

TRENTON — There’s a new pizza restaurant on the scene in Trenton.

Little Caesars has opened a 1,400-square-foot restaurant at 942 W. State St. in the Trenton Crossings Shopping Center. Trenton is already home to Cassano’s, Domino’s and Richards Pizza.

Brad Potter, 29, co-owns the restaurant — and other Little Caesar locations in Middletown Tecumseh, Mich. — along with his dad, Bruce, and brother, Eric.

“I had actually made a lot of phone calls to businesses and stuff and they sounded excited about Little Caesars coming in,” he said.

Potter said one of the reasons his family decided to locate the restaurant in Trenton is because of its hometown feel.

“It’s nice it’s a tight-knit community and they seem to want to support their local businesses. Even though it’s a smaller community relative to Middletown, it seems to be growing even if it’s a slow growth, it’s still growing, and that’s good to see especially in this economy,” he said.

“And we’re looking to expand as much as possible,” Potter said. “We hope to be putting in another new location (in Springboro) here pretty soon.”

John Jones, Trenton’s city manager, said the city was told 38 of the restaurant’s 40 employees at the Trenton site are from the community.

He said the city will benefit greatly by Little Caesars locating there.

“On behalf of the council and administration, we are always please when employment opportunities are created. In addition, Little Caesars gives our residents more choices and creates competition in our city,” he said.

Store hours are 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday. For more information, call (513) 988-9100.
