Charming Charlie at The Greene Towne Center will close.

Charming Charlie is shutting down all of its stores in a Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing made public today.

The jewelry and accessory company said it was a “tough decision” but the company would wind down sales and close all brick-and-mortar stores, according to a filing in the United States Bankruptcy Court District of Delaware. It has tried other cost-saving measures, including closing 100 underperforming stores.

Charming Charlie also faced “significant headwinds given the continued decline of the brick-and-mortar retail industry,” the company said in the court filing.

There will be no new gift cards issued and online sales have already ended.
