A recently closed grocery store is set to reopen in Tipp City, according to signs posted at the business.

The Tipp City Foodtown closed earlier this month because it was unprofitable, owner Jim Davis has told the Dayton Daily News.

Signs now posted at the store say the location will reopen after renovations under new ownership.

Someone is interested in buying the equipment, but Davis said there is no done deal yet and he still leases the space.

The Dayton Daily News left messages with the Tipp City Plaza owner for more details about a potential new grocery store owner.
