The new full-service lodge will offer dining, conferencing, and approximately 80 guest rooms for overnight visitors. There will also be both indoor and outdoor pools for hotel guests and park visitors, according to the state documents.
ODNR recently requested $15 million be released from the State Controlling Board for the project to contract Corna Kokosing for Construction Manger at Risk services, according to the documents. Construction will cost $28.1 million plus an estimated fee range of 5.5 percent to 6.5 percent.
The board will vote on the funds Monday.
