McCormick will return to Miami Valley Hospital on Wednesday and will speak at the Dayton Convention Center for a private event for Premier employees.

His company has worked with more than 1,500 authors and Entrepreneur Magazine recently ranked Scribe as having the “Top Company Culture in America,” according to Premier Health.
McCormick is also the author of “I Got There: How a Mixed-Race Kid Overcame Racism, Poverty, and Abuse to Achieve the American Dream.”
In his book, he describes being born to a father who was a pimp and an orphaned mother. His book tells the story of how he worked his way out of poverty, starting with his career cleaning toilets and eventually becoming the president of multiple companies.
