The Vandalia site will have about 10 to 15 employees, including welding and engineers.

The building sold for $380,000, according to Montgomery County property records.
The 10,400-square-foot manufacturing and assembly building in Vandalia will be an expansion for Industrial Machining Services, Inc., based in Fort Loramie, and has about 75 employees.
The company’s services includes designing and building fabricated equipment, contract machining, food-grade sanitary process installation, packaging sterilization and automation equipment.
The Vandalia expansion will be used for welding and manufacturing as well as a logistical hub for southern markets.

The building seller was Jim Browning, who previously operated Mega Forms for 20 years out of the facility and recently sold his business to Ennis Inc.
Echemann said Vandalia’s proximity to Dayton was what drew Industrial Machining Services.
“Their business is growing and they wanted to draw from the larger labor pool that Dayton offers. Further, because Vandalia is located at the crossroads of I-70 and I-75, Vandalia is a popular option in terms of site selection for businesses,” he said.
