Customers who order alcohol are required to provide valid identification to place an order, and Shipt drivers have to be 21 years old to fulfill orders that include alcohol. Michigan is currently the only state where alcohol is included as part of Meijer’s home delivery service.
This news organization has reached to Meijer to see when the service could be offered in Ohio.

Meijer launched its home delivery in Dayton and Cincinnati in late April, and later added services in Columbus, Dublin and Fairborn in early May. Meijer partnered with Shipt, an app and website that offers grocery delivery services. It allows customers the ability to shop for items online or using its mobile app, and then a personal shopper brings the shopping order right to the customers door.
Meijer has locations across the Miami Valley, Cincinnati and Springfield.
