Two more area Steak N’ Shake restaurants are temporarily closed.

The Steak N’ Shake restaurants at 1926 Dorothy Lane in Moraine and 3170 Towne Blvd. in Middletown are closed temporarily, according to the company’s website and employees of the locations.

The closures add to two previous temporary closures on Miller Lane and in Englewood. Nearly all Cincinnati locations have also closed at least temporarily.

The temporary closures are part of the process of moving from corporate to franchise operations, Kadylak previously told the Dayton Daily News.

In August 2018, the 621-unit Steak ‘n Shake chain announced it would offer potential franchise partners who pay $10,000 and who commit to a six-month training program the chance to own what is now a corporate-operated Steak ‘n Shake restaurant.

Locations in Springfield, Troy, Fairborn, Main Street in Dayton, Huber Heights, Miamisburg and Wilmington Pike in Dayton remain open according to the company’s website.
