2 new businesses coming to downtown Dayton

Two new businesses are opening in downtown Dayton.

A dry cleaning company and an event company have both signed leases at the Jefferson Place Apartments and Commercial Building located at 101-105 E. 2nd St. in downtown Dayton. A+ Cleaners and White House Events LLC signed long-term leasing agreements at the building, according to Vic Green Realty.

Richard Potasky, principal broker at Vic Green, represented both the landlord and the tenants. After the building went through a major renovation, the commercial space is fully leased and the apartments are about 90 percent leased.

A+ Cleaners has locations in Centerville, Miamisburg, Sugarcreek Twp., Kettering and Trotwood. A+ Cleaners offers full-service dry cleaning, simple spot removal, specialty cleaning on wedding gowns and military items, as well as alterations and leather treatment.

White House Event Center Dayton will offer a 2,600-square-foot venue space for small weddings, baby showers, class reunions and birthday parties, according to its website. There will be free wireless internet, a large open dance space, round and rectangle tables for rent and security personnel. Rental hall prices range from $400 for 8 hours on weekdays to $520 -$625 for 8 hours on weekends.
