The center is set to open in late 2017 with 15 employees, and the company plans to scale up to 40 employees. With a total investment of $4 million, the center will be a hub for innovation and business in Southwest Ohio.
The on-site inspection academy is expected to bring over 600 customers to Cincinnati annually for training and application services across aviation, automotive and oil and gas industries, according to a company statement.
Earlier this month, Baker Hughes, a GE company announced today that the transaction combining GE’s oil and gas business with Baker Hughes is complete. The new company brings together “industry-leading equipment, services and digital solutions across the entire spectrum of oil and gas development,” a company statement said.
