The location is also still hiring cashiers and sales associates, according to job postings on the company’s website. About 40 jobs have been created for the new store.

An additional 12 Burlington stores will open in March, including one in Hilliard near Columbus and another in Parma near Cleveland. Five more stores will open in April and seven in May. Burlington is one of few retailers expanding in the changing retail landscape and one of even fewer that are able to fill major spaces left vacant when junior department stores close.
Burlington is an off-price apparel and home retailer with 567 stores in 45 states and Puerto Rico. There are three stores in the Dayton area, five in the Cincinnati area and two stores in the Columbus region.
