The Buehler family had indicated they hoped to open by Christmas in the building behind the new Springboro Performing Arts Center in the city-center development. It previously housed Campioni’s.
Last week, the city announced the Cassano’s Pizza restaurant operating on North Main Street at the east edge of the redevelopment site was moving into one of two new buildings in the development.
“The second building, to be located on the SR 73 side of Wright Station, will house Luminous Nail Spa, a Dayton-based nail spa,” according to the release by the city and Mills Development.

Michael and Melissa Curry Buehler could not be reached Thursday about the opening of Heroes.
Last month, they indicated they planned to open as soon as the fire suppression system was ready to go and a final inspection was completed by the county health department.
Michael Buehler said the restaurant would feature the pizza dough, subs and steak sandwiches served at Ron’s Pizza in Miamisburg.
Heroes is the Buehlers’ first restaurant, but both said they have extensive restaurant-business experience.
Their remodeling of the former Campioni’s was not done by Mills, but is part of Wright Station, according to a sign next to the building.
Before Christmas, Springboro and Mills announced plans for the two buildings in the redevelopment of the northwest corner of Ohio 741 and Ohio 73, Main Street and Central Avenue in Springboro.
The new Cassano’s is to be built in a 5,000 square foot building on the Main Street side of Wright Station, “immediately adjacent to Cassano’s existing facility and allow Cassano’s to maintain normal operations during construction,” according to the press release.

Incorporating the new building into the Wright Station development will increase parking and create an additional building pad for future development as well. Construction of the new building will commence in February and will include Cassano’s and “2,400 square feet of speculative space for a future tenant.”
The Luminous location is to be built in an 8,000 square foot building on the Central Avenue side of the development.
“Luminous plans to open a new 4,000 square foot nail spa within the next year,” according to the release. “The remaining 4,000 square feet will be speculative space for a future tenant.”
“We are eager to have two more buildings under construction in Wright Station within just a few months of completion of the Springboro Performing Arts Center and the groundbreaking for the Warped Wing Brewing Company,” John Kopilchack, director of development for Mills, said in the release. “As the vision for Wright Station continues to unfold, we are excited at the reception from both the Springboro community and the retail and restaurant operators in the greater Dayton area.”
Kopilchack declined to comment Thursday on Heroes’ opening.
Heroes is entering a competitive market, but one that no longer includes Pizza-N-Motion, which closed on Dec. 28 at 282 W. Central Ave., according to the restaurant’s voice mail.
