NuVasive Manufacturing to expand work force

A Fairborn spine implant manufacturer plans to expand its work force by more than 25 percent in 2014, company officials announced.

NuVasive Manufacturing LLC currently employs more than 70 people and is hiring for positions ranging from skilled workers to senior management, officials said.

The local manufacturer, formerly known as ANC LLC, was acquired in May by San Diego-based NuVasive Inc., a global medical device company.

NuVasive had revenue of about $620.3 million for 2012 and employs more than 1,500 people, according to company materials.
