Crossroads BBQ & More will be operated by McGee and his wife Lauren, and it is owned by Lauren’s parents, Greg and Susan Sutton of Beavercreek.
McGee grew up in Fairborn and is familiar with the restaurant space, which previously held Roma’s Pizza and Pasta and GoodFella’s Grille. He has been cooking barbecue for several years, and said he believes a restaurant with that concept will do well in Fairborn.
Crossroads will offer barbecue brisket, ribs, pulled pork and pulled chicken, served with house-made side dishes such as green beans, macaroni and cheese and cole slaw. The menu also will include non-barbecue options such as sandwiches, subs and pizza.
The restaurant will deliver, and plans call for adding catering in the months ahead, McGee said.
