“The addition of Disney Shops to J.C. Penney will be a major draw in our kids department, offering customers an entirely new selection of high quality gifts just in time for the holiday season,” said Betsy Schumacher, the company’s senior vice president and general merchandise manager for children’s, in a statement.
Officials said each shop ranges in size from 800 to 1,100 square feet and offers a selection of Disney-themed plush toys, dolls, figurine sets, sleepwear, role-playing and fashion apparel for children sizes 2-10. Prices range from $7 for a mini plus toy, $15 for a pajama set to $90 for a collection of nine Disney Princess dolls.
J.C. Penney operates area stores in Beavercreek, Cincinnati, Greenville, Hamilton, Miami Twp., Piqua and Springfield.
