The branch offices are scheduled to close Aug. 16. No other Cincinnati, Dayton or Springfield branches are on the list to close at this point, Zwiebel said.
“Customers are free to use any branch that may be convenient to them,” she said.
Dayton Daily News has followed the trend of large regional banks closing branches to cut costs as consumers increasingly turn to electronic banking. In March, PNC said it planned to close about 200 branch offices in 2013, including a downtown Springfield location that shut down Feb. 22.
PNC is the Dayton metro’s third largest bank by deposits of approximately $1.5 billion, according to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp.
