Port Columbus adds two restaurants

Port Columbus Airport will add restaurants, Eddie George’s Grille 27 and Bob Evans Express, in the next six months.

An Eddie George’s Grille 27 and Bob Evans Express are coming to Concourse B of the airport. The Bob Evans Express will open by the end of the year, replacing a Quiznos sub location. Eddie George’s Grille 27 will come in the spring, when the renovation of Concourse B is expected to be completed, according to the Columbus Dispatch.

Port Columbus is in the midst of an $80 million renovation.

The Eddie George restaurant will offer full table service, a bar and grab-and-go options. The Bob Evans Express is a new concept for the New Albany-based company, which will open one at Rickenbacker Airport in the next few weeks, the Dispatch reported this week. The express concept features a smaller menu than is found in the restaurants. The shop will offer to-go sandwiches and salads, plus signature items such as buttermilk biscuits.
