New $27M Dayton rehab hospital is the latest area project for Premier Health

The two-story, 45,000-square-foot building will house primary and specialty physicians along with imaging and lab and is part of a series of four Premier new medical centers in the region. Dayton-based Premier is the largest private employer in the Dayton area and has the equivalent of 12,233 full-time employees.

“Our goal is to make their health care convenient, streamlined, and comprehensive – while at the same time easy to access,” Diane Pleiman, president of Premier Physician Network, said in a statement.

The medical office building will have space for 12 primary care providers and will offer specialty services in orthopedics, cardiology, endocrinology, rheumatology, OB/GYN, imaging and lab services through CompuNet, according to Premier.

The Beavercreek office will have about 56 employees and 15 of those positions will be new.

Fairfield Road Physician Office and First Care Family Medicine primary care practices will move to the site along with additional specialty care providers.

The contractor for the project is Cincinnati-based Al.Neyer.

The center is under construction about a mile and a half from Soin Medical Center, which is owned by competitor Kettering Health Network. Premier is also opening an urgent care in Beavercreek.
