Premier Cardiovascular Institute combines 4 Dayton-area practices

Four cardiology practices are combining to create the Premier Cardiovascular Institute.

Premier Cardiovascular Institute is a comprehensive, multi-disciplinary practice providing complete cardiovascular care for patients throughout Southwest Ohio, according to a statement from Premier Physician Network.

Dayton Heart Center, Miami Valley Cardiologists, The Premier Heart Associates, and Upper Valley Cardiology are joining together to form the practice, with Upper Valley Cardiology officially joining Jan. 1.

“The Premier Cardiovascular Institute brings a diverse group of specialties into one practice and offers diagnosis, treatment and care for cardiovascular disease, echocardiography, electrophysiology, interventional cardiology, valve disease and vascular disease,” the health network stated.

The physician network is part of Dayton-based Premier Health. Premier is the largest private employer in the region and had $1.7 billion in revenue last year.
