Realtors board announces officers, directors

Mark Kottman, president-elect of the Dayton Area Board of Realtors, will become board president on Jan. 1, the organization announced Monday.

Kottman, a real estate agent for 37 years, is associated with HER Realtors.

The Board of Realtors also announced that Ralph Mantica, a Realtor with Kinzeler Realty, was elected president-elect. He will automatically become president in 2015. Mantica has been a member since 1986 and currently serves as board treasurer.

In June, as required by the group’s constitution, board directors elected Michael Martin as treasurer for 2014. Martin, a member of the organization for nine years, is associated with Kamela and Company Realty.

Three Realtors were elected to three-year terms on the organization’s board. They are Lisa Arzate and Karen O’Grady, associated with Coldwell Banker Heritage; Bob Morrison, associated with Irongate Inc. Realtors; and Benita Wenzler, associated with HER Realtors. They will start their terms in January.

The Realtors serving unexpired terms on the organization’s board are Billie Duncan-Hart, Kim Fox, Skip Miller, and Deborah Sasser, associated with Coldwell Banker Heritage; Sharon Geier, associated with Irongate, Inc. Realtors; Sham Reddy, associated with HER Realtors; Guy Roth, associated with BH&G Real Estate Big Hill; and C. Michael Royce, associated with Royce and Associates. Nancy Farkas, associated with Coldwell Banker Heritage, will continue to serve on the Board as immediate past-president.

Two directors are leaving the organization’s board. They are Jan Leverett, associated with Irongate Inc. Realtors; and Tammy Murphy, associated with Prudential One Realtors.
