» Local Babies ‘R’ Us closing: What we know now about Toys ‘R’ Us closings
“As we have shared publicly, our focus is on the reinvention of our business and emergence from chapter 11,” Toys “R” Us spokeswoman Amy von Walter said Wednesday. “Decisions about our future store footprint and organizational structure will be based on needs of the new business model and so it would be premature for me to comment on that.”
In late January, the company announced The Babies ‘R’ Us location at 2661 Miamisburg-Centerville Road in Dayton and three other stores in Ohio that are set to close. The other three Ohio locations to be shuttered are in Dublin, Mentor and Western Hills near Cincinnati. Toys ‘R’ Us also has locations in Miamisburg and Beavercreek.
