Troy company to add $850K expansion

Metal fabricator Raymath appears to be ready to expand in Troy.

The company has applied for a building permit, to build a 24,250-square-foot addition for “metal fabrication and storage,” according to a new Miami County record. The application is dated July 29.

The addition is for 2323 W. Ohio 55 (or West Market Street) in Troy. The application puts the value of the project at $850,000.

Raymath Co. was founded in 1982 by Ray Mathieu. The company provides tool and die services and product design.

Bill Moore, the company’s previous owner, said he sold the company May 1 to Greg LeFevre and his fellow investors. A message was left for LeFevre Monday.
