University of Dayton MBA program makes changes

DAYTON — Two changes to University of Dayton’s Master of Business Administration program were announced Friday.

John Gentner was announced as the new program director, replacing interim director Mandy Schrank. Gentner, a graduate of the program, has taught at University of Dayton since 2004 as a lecturer and executive in residence in the School of Business Administration’s management and marketing department. He has led the MBA capstone program since 2011.

Schrank will stay on staff at the MBA office, said university spokesman Cameron Fullam.

Also, MBA students starting classes in August can complete the 30-credit hour graduate program online for the first time.

Courses will continue to be offered on-campus, mostly at the university’s River Campus, the former NCR Corp. headquarters on South Patterson Boulevard.

About 150 students graduate UD’s MBA program a year.

Registration for the online program begins at the end of May at online.udayton.edu and goes through August 8. Registration for on-campus classes is online, and goes through August 25.
