$9M Vandalia medical hub opens

A $9 million hub of Premier Health medical services started seeing its first patients today.

The Vandalia medical office will act as a primary and specialty care center, with other on-site services like X-ray and laboratory services through CompuNet.

The two-story, 45,000- square-foot building is at 600 Aviator Court in Vandalia near the Interstate-75 and Northwoods Boulevard interchange.

The medical office building has 12 primary care providers and will offer specialty services in orthopedics, cardiology, rheumatology, imaging, and lab services through CompuNet.

Premier Health Family Care of Vandalia will relocate to the site. Providers include: Joseph Allen, MD; Elizabeth Swartzwelder-Cozard, MD; Heather Branam, FNP; Samantha Loel, FNP; Sari Bright, FNP; and Sara Wilson-Rector, FNP.

The site has about 56 employees and 15 are new positions.

Diane Pleiman, president of Premier Physician Network, said “our goal is to make their health care convenient, streamlined, and comprehensive – while at the same time easy to access.”
