Patrick is also owner of Pat’s Place, a family-owned gas station/convenience store for three generations in Waynesville.
Since last fall, Ross has test-marketed his creations at Pat’s Place, Patrick explained.
For example, the Townie Trio is topped with Sauerkraut, onions, sausage.
“His pies are all very unique,” Patrick said. “It’s fantastic.”
Co-owners Ross and Tammy Merris have been friends since graduating from Waynesville High School.
“We have a lot of good friends in this area that have been extremely supportive,” Merris said.
“One advantage that we have is it was a successful pizza business,” Merris said.
Roscoe’s is in the former Pizza Hut at 6782 Corwin Ave. in the Village of Corwin.
On Monday, they were struggling with a phone outage and other technical problems.

Still mid-day Monday, the restaurant, just south of the Furnas Forge subdivision, had a perfect score in 36 Facebook reviews.
The restaurant is located in a building owned by Cocca Properties, a real estate development company based in Boardman, Ohio. A Dollar General is next door.
“Roscoe’s Pizza offers a wide selection of specialty pizzas with fresh ingredients. Served up by a fun-loving crew of pizza slugs,” according to the restaurant’s Facebook page.
While home development continues around Waynesville and the lake, it remains a rural part of the county.
In addition to business in and around Corwin and Waynesville, Roscoe’s could pick up orders from people headed to the lake and state park. The restaurant is just north of Ohio 73, the main east-west route to the lake area.
“We expect to do quite a good business during the summer,” Merris said, adding they were considering deliveries to the boat docks in Caesar Creek State Park.
