Waste Management launches 'Bagster' pickup

CINCINNATI — Waste Management of Ohio this week launched a new trash removal service for projects whose trash is too big for a bin, but too small to require a full steel dumpster.

The service, WM Bagster, will involve a high-capacity polypropylene bag with a set charge for pickup and disposal, the company said in a press release.

WM Bagster, which can be purchased at Home Depot, Lowe’s and other retail locations, can hold three cubic yards of waste and measures 8 feet long, 4 feet wide and 2.5 feet tall. It can hold up to 3,300 pounds of waste, and retails for $29.95.

Yard waste, appliances, electronics, tires and food waste should not be disposed of in the Bagster; household junk, construction debris and other nonhazardous materials can be. Once the bag is full, customers may go to thebagster.com or call (877) 789-2247 to schedule a pickup, which will happen within three days.
