WinWholesale acquires Texas company

Dayton-based WinWholesale Inc. has acquired a Texas electrical supply company, according to company officials.

WinWholesale, a supplier and distributor of mechanical supplies and materials, has purchased Lloyd Graves Electrical Supply in Spring, Texas, about 20 miles north of Houston. The company is now operating as Graves Winlectric.

Graves Winlectric serves electrical contractors in a 60-mile radius.

Scott Hudson, operations manager of the company prior to the acquistion, is manager of Graves Winlectric. The transition will be seamless to the company’s customers, Hudson said in a statement.

Founded in 1973, the company has 14 employees who remain on the staff of Graves Winlectric.

WinWholesale, headquartered at 3110 Kettering Blvd. in Dayton, has more than 500 locations in 44 states. The company has 4,100 employees total across the nation, including about 300 in the Dayton area.
