Fairborn police found West around 6:30 p.m. Monday inside her car at the dead end of Warner Drive after she had apparently gotten lost, Sgt. John McGuire said.
Medics checked her and took her to a local hospital for further evaluation, he said.
A Fairborn woman missing since Sunday evening was found safe in her car Monday evening.
An Endangered Missing Adult Alert is now canceled that had been issued for 68-year-old Thelma West who was “quite confused” when she drove away around 5:45 p.m. Sunday from her home in the Superior Avenue area, according to Fairborn police. She did not have her medications for epilepsy, a head injury and other conditions and police were concerned for her safety.
