Clark County couple accused of stealing more than $100,000 in guns

A Donnelsville man and his girlfriend were arrested this week on charges accusing them of stealing a sled, antiques, collectibles and more than $100,000 worth of firearms in late December, according to a court document.

Nicholas Taylor and Deanna Ulrich, of the 100 block of East Main Street in Donnelsville, are charged with one count each of breaking and entering. They have been booked into the Clark County Jail.

Taylor and Ulrich are accused of stealing the items from a neighbor’s home on Dec. 30.

Both told police they have drug habits that have “spiraled out of control” and admitted to stealing the items and trading them for drugs, according to the court document.

Each could get up to two years in prison and $2,500 in fines if convicted as charged.
