A Dayton man who reportedly raped and sexually abused at least two children in Riverside is facing more than 20 charges.

A grand jury indicted 57-year-old Ricky Dale Ivey on six counts of rape of a victim younger than 13 and 16 counts of sexual battery, according to Montgomery County Common Pleas court records.

He is scheduled to be arraigned Thursday. His bond was previously set at $2,500,000.

The victims — at least one boy and one girl — were children of Ivey’s close acquaintances, according to Montgomery County Municipal Court records.

The alleged abuse took place between Feb. 19, 2016, and Feb. 18, 2024.

Riverside police arrested Ivey on Aug. 1, according to Miami Valley Jails booking records. He was still in custody as of Monday afternoon.
