Man gets probation, community service for robbing FedEx driver in Washington Twp.

A New York man accused of robbing a FedEx driver in Washington Twp. before trying to flee was sentenced to probation and community service.

Miguel Antonio Bodre, 21, was sentenced by Montgomery County Common Pleas Judge Elizabeth Ellis to up to five years of probation, along with 100 hours of community service.

Bodre was charged along with co-defendant Luis Emilio Paula-Jiminez, 23, also of New York, after an incident on Halloween 2024, when Bodre reportedly pushed a FedEx delivery driver on Ashel Court and grabbed a package.

He then tried to flee in a getaway car but deputies intercepted him and Paula-Jimenez, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office said. Both were taken into custody.

Paula-Jiminez was charged with one count each of complicity to commit robbery and complicity to commit theft, according to court records. His trial is scheduled for Jan. 27.
