Police, SWAT response due to ‘high-risk search warrant’ in Miamisburg

Miamisburg police have confirmed that they executed a “high-risk search warrant” Wednesday morning that involved multiple agencies and a SWAT response.

Police said that at about 9 a.m., they executed the warrant in the 2400 block of Byers Ridge Drive with Kettering Regional SWAT, the Tactical Crime Suppression Unit and the Miami Valley Trafficking Task Force.

The warrant dealt with narcotics and prostitution-related charges, police said, and detectives recovered evidence related to those charges at the home.

Police added that nobody was arrest at the scene.

The case remains under investigation by the Miamisburg Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Section.
