An 18-year-old Dayton man is no longer facing any charges after a Montgomery County grand jury on Tuesday declined to indict him.

Montgomery County Sheriff’s deputies and medics responded at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 10 to the 2200 block of Cadie Avenue in Harrison Twp., where they found a man in the passenger seat of the vehicle with a gunshot to his right leg, according to an affidavit filed in Vandalia Municipal Court.

The victim was taken to Kettering Health Dayton, formerly Grandview Medical Center, suffering from injuries described as not life-threatening.

Zion Rashad Colquitt later was charged with two counts of felonious assault and held on $100,000 bond in the Montgomery County Jail.

The charges have since been cleared against him.
