Chambers was walking east just before 2:50 a.m. Saturday in the 2700 block of East Third Street when she was struck by a vehicle headed east on East Third Street at an unknown speed, the report stated.
Detectives on Monday found the suspect vehicle but are working to determine who was driving when the victim was struck, Dayton police said.

Chambers was one of 10 people killed statewide in crashes over the New Year’s holiday.
Four fatalities were the result of not wearing a seat belt, three were OVI-related and four others also involved pedestrians between midnight Thursday and 11:59 p.m. Sunday, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
