Ohio's beach advisories
The map below shows which Ohio beaches are under advisory after water quality testing by the state. According to the Ohio Department of Health, "If a beach has a water advisory posting it means the level of bad bacteria in the water has reached unsafe levels and could make you sick." Click on a marker for information on the beach, and choose from the list of beaches for its history of advisories from 2008-13.
