Afeni Shakur missed Tupac 'every day'

She talked about missing him in a 2011 video, saying “I miss his being. He was my son and I miss him as my baby, my boy, who I loved, respected, appreciated.”

Tupac Shakur was shot to death in 1996, and his mother took over handling his estate, which earned close to $1 million a year.

Tupac recorded "Dear Mama" in 1995, forgiving his mother for her failings and thanking her for her love. The song was trending Tuesday on social media, including Facebook and Twitter.
