Asianati food festival will happen during BLINK event in Cincinnati

Asianati Night Market, a food festival offering the vibrant energy and cultural richness of Asia, will return to Cincinnati’s Court Street Plaza during BLINK.

“The Asianati Night Market is more than just a food festival; it’s a full sensory journey that promises to be one of highlights of the amazing BLINK experience,” said Sarah Kramer, operations manager at Asianati, “We are inviting the community to come out and get immersed in Asian culture and hopefully feel what it’s like to go to night markets in Asia.”

BLINK is Oct. 17-20 focused on the art of light displayed throughout Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. It has more than 80 projects by hundreds of artists with murals, light installations and projection.

Due to its popularity, the Asianati Night Market will also expand in 2024, promising more food vendors, art installations and experiences and games. More than 540,000 people attended the 2022 event.

The Asianati Night Market is set to illuminate Court Street Plaza with colorful lanterns, art installations and the aromas of authentic Asian street food. It highlights a diverse selection of street-style cuisine from Asian restaurants across Cincinnati.

Beyond the food options, the market will feature immersive visual elements, including lanterns and art installations inspired by traditional Asian night markets. These visual displays paired with the smells of Asian street food will create an atmosphere that is both authentic, reflecting on the rich cultural heritage that night markets represent.

Asianati Night Market will also host a cosplay contest where attendees can dress up like their favorite anime characters for a chance to win prizes.
