Rapper Lil Durk says he's turning himself in, attorney says he faces charges in shooting

Rapper Lil Durk will turn himself in to police Thursday afternoon in connection with a February shooting in Atlanta, WSB reports.

The rapper made cryptic posts on Twitter and Instagram Wednesday, saying, "Turning myself in tomorrow."

An attorney for the rapper, whose real name is Durk Derrick Banks, confirmed to WSB that his client will surrender Thursday.

Lil Durk's attorney said he didn't know the exact charges his client will face, but the charges are in connection with a Feb. 5 shooting outside The Varsity.

Police said at the time that a 23-year-old was shot multiple times and taken to Atlanta Medical Center in serious condition.
