Wilson's agent, Mark Rodgers, confirmed the $140 million four-year extension to The Associated Press.
Wilson, 30, didn't get into specifics, but said that he reached a deal with the Seahawks in a video he posted on Twitter.
“Hey Seattle, we got a deal,” Wilson said while lying in bed next to his beaming wife, singer Ciara. “Go Hawks. But I'ma see y'all in the morning. Time for y'all to go to bed. See y’all in the morning.”

"Russell's goal and his hope was that he would continue his career with the Seahawks and continue to bring championships to this town," Rodgers told The AP. "He believes there is still unfinished business and he is looking forward to pursuing that without having to worry about contracts and his future."
