The whole bean coffee is “infused with full spectrum hemp extract,” according to Nelson’s website, and “combines the benefits of cannabis with other plants.”

The coffee promises “a natural lift, a perfect harmony of focus from the caffeine plus calm from the cannabis.”

An 8-ounce bag retails for $36 and comes with instruction on how to brew it.

CBD or cannabidiol is a marijuana extract that is marketed as containing therapeutic benefits. While the Food and Drug Administration has not approved the marketing of the products for treatment, it does confirm that marijuana products have been used to help treat medical conditions such as cancer and epilepsy and for pain relief.

In 2016, the longtime pot advocate launched a signature marijuana brand called Willie's Reserve and a line of edibles and accessories.
